関市といえば、日本刀と刃物。関鍛冶伝承館では伝統の刀造りの展示や美しい刀剣を見ることができ、せきてらす岐阜刃物会館には包丁をはじめとする約２０００点もの関ブランドの刃物が並んでいます。

漆黒の闇のなか鵜匠と鵜が織りなす清流長良川の小瀬鵜飼は、あなたを古典絵巻の世界に誘ってくれます。

関市は円空終焉の地でもあり、関市円空館や洞戸円空記念館ではお気に入りの円空仏に出会えるかも知れません。

また、美濃の法隆寺といわれる新長谷寺や、関善光寺、高澤観音などの名刹、関鍛冶を守護する春日神社など、多くの崇拝をあつめる寺社も点在しています。

モネの「睡蓮」を想わせる「名もなき池」の透明美、株杉の森の神秘な世界、さらには渓流釣りや鮎釣り、など自然を楽しむことのできるスポットもいっぱいです。

関市のグルメの代表は鰻で、多くのお店が味を競い合っています。

Seki City boasts the prodution of Japanese swords and blades. At the Seki Traditional Swordsmith Museum, you can see exhibits on traditional sword making and beautiful swords, and at the Gifu Cutlery Hall in Seki Terrace, you'll be fascinated with the wide selection of Seki-branded kitchen knives.

The Oze cormorant fishing on the clear waters of the Nagara River, where cormorant fishermen and their cormorants work together in the pitch black darkness, will take you into the world of a classic picture scroll.

Seki City is also the place where Enku passed away, and you may be able to find your favorite Enku's sculptures at the Seki City Enku Museum  and the Horado Enku Museum.

Seki is dotted with many temples and shrines that attract many worshippers, including Shin-Chokokuji Temple, Seki Zenkoji Temple, Takazawa Kannon Temple and Kasuga Shrine, which protects Seki's swordsmiths.

You can also enjoy the crystal clear beauty of the Nameless Pond, that is reminiscent of Monet's "Water Lilies", the Kabusugi Cedar Forest, which makes you feel like you've wandered into a mysterious world, and even mountain stream fishing and sweetfish fishing.

The typical gourmet food of Seki City is grilled eel, and many restaurants compete to offer the best flavor.
